How To Crochet The Smock Stitch (Also Known As The Honeycomb Stitch

Here are the written instructions for the Smock Stitch (which is also known as the Honeycomb Stitch). The Smock Stitch creates a wonderfully dense fabric and adds a beautiful texture to your projects. It is one of my favourite stitches and I like to use it to make cushion covers for my home (they look beautiful) but it looks equally good worked up as a blanket, scarf, shawl (pretty much any and everything). It is surprisingly easy to work the Smock Stitch up despite its complex appearance.
