Free Pattern: Bow and Bella Easter Bunnies

MATERIALS

• Stylecraft Aran yarn in the colour White
• Black Embroidery Thread
• Pink Embroidery Thread
• Soft Toy Filling
• 8mm Safey Eyes
• 4mm Crochet Hook
• Stitch Marker
• Scissors
• Darning Needle

ABBREVIATIONS

• Ch – Chain
• ST/STS – Stitch/STitches
• SL ST – Slip Stitch
• DC – Double Crochet [UK] Single Crochet [US]

NOTES

This pattern is made crocheting in a spiral. This means   that you will not be joining the beginning and end ouf a round with a slip stitch you will just continue to crochet

BODY:

make one of the legs 1st starting with a MR

• Round 1 – place 6dc around the MR [6sts]
• Round 2 – 1dc inc into every sts [12sts}
• Round 3 – 20 – 1dc into every sts [12sts]
• sl st to the 1st dc of the round to join, ch1 and fasten off

place this first leg to one side until you are ready to join the two legs together

• Round 1 – place 6dc around the MR [6sts] (this is the start of the 2nd leg)
• Round 2 – 1dc inc into every sts [12sts}
• Round 3 – 20 – 1dc into every sts [12sts]
• Round 21 – 1dc in the 1st 6 sts, ch2, then join the two legs together by placing a dc in the 1st dc of the leg that you made 1st, and 1dc in the next 11 sts, 1dc into each of the two chs, 1dc into the remaining 6sts [28sts]
• Round 22 – 28 – 1dc in every st around [28sts]
• Round 29 – *1dc into the 1st 7 sts, 1dc dec* repeat twice, 1dc into the last st [25sts]
• Round 30 – *1dc into the 1st 6 sts, 1dc dec* repeat twice, 1dc into the last st [22sts]
• Round 31 – 33 – 1dc in every st [22sts]

EARS

• Round 1 – 6dc around MR [6sts]
• Round 2 – 1dc inc into every st [12sts]
• Round 3 – 5 – 1dc into every st [12sts]
• Round 6 – *1dc, 1dc inc* repeat 5 times [18 sts]
• Round 7 – 10 – 1dc in every st [18sts]
• Round 11 – *1dc into the 1st sts, 1 dc dec* repeat 5 times [12 sts]
• Round 12 – 15 – 1dc into every st [12sts] sl st to join the 1st and last st of Round 15
• crochet through both sides of the ears placing 5dc evenly across the open edge to close the ear
• fold the ear in half length way sl st to the first st of the previous row to pull the ear together ch 1 and fasten off leaving a long enough loose end to attach the ears to the bunny head

ARMS

• Make a Magic Ring
• Round 1 – place 6dc around MR [6sts]
• Round 2 – 18 – 1dc in every st [6sts]
